Franchise dealers must post a $25,000 bond with the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission to obtain a license.  Used car dealers must post a $25,000 bond with the State Police.

Dealers must obtain a license certificate from the Arkansas State Police (ASP). The used motor vehicle dealer must submit the ASP certificate to an Arkansas State Revenue Office and purchase used motor vehicle dealer license plates. Master license plates are $100.00 annually. Extra dealer license plates are $25.00 each, annually.
