A $5,000 to $100,000 bond may be required, if there is reason to doubt the financial responsibility or compliance of dealership.

| Dealer License |
Manufacturers, distributors, dealers and mobile home dealers, recreational vehicle dealers, salvage dealers wholesale auctions and wholesale dealers are required to obtain a business license (not required for trailer dealers). Individuals selling more than five vehicles of their own are required to obtain a dealer's license. Issued for 2-year period based on date of issuance.
Dealer License Fee: $40.00 - $100.00 depending on type of vehicle sold.
Dealers are required to file $50,000 bond.
Wholesalers are required to file a $25,000 bond.
Trailer plates issued to trailer dealers for the transportation of trailers exceeding 3,000 lbs.
